In 2016, Osteria Francescana became No.1 restaurant in the world, food/taste was definitely NOT my No.1 but he could really play with colors! Really appreciate every dish is well decorated like a painting, like a delicate art piece.
I understand fine dining culinary experience is playing creative ‘concept’, innovative ideas, need to standing out from other eateries leads as well as stunning presentation to keep the attractiveness of the customers. However, i think there is slightly go to extremes and seems forgot the original taste of food. No offence, just my opinion.
